Mentoring CSS works with young players aspiring to play high level collegiate squash or professionally on the world circuit. Many young players attending this program, have gone on to represent prestigious educational institutions. The program covers a broad spectrum of character building tools for an individual's development through sport as a medium which includes:
Personal Development (on and off the court)
Point of View Participants in the Bajwa squash program attest to learning to think outside the box when it comes to conducting practices and drills. The most distinguishing feature they walk away with is the new outlook on squash that is presented, which translates over into the real world. The way the sport and its psychology is taught is conducive to self-learning, as Bajwa believes that in order to know something, it is important to figure it out for yourself. Another aspect participants enjoy most is the opportunity to be self-reliant and therefore having the will to try and do things for themselves. The program follows the principles of hard work, honesty, and integrity, which enables each individual to self-evaluate both at times of victory and defeat.
Self-Esteem Focus on guiding each individual to think and appreciate his/ her reasons to play a sport.
Play to be an elite athlete
Play to be an all round individual
Play for the passion
During instruction and interaction each individual is encouraged to realize his/her potential, irrespective of which category he/she falls under. Once ascertained, emphasis is always to aspire to be the best they can be, in sports and in life in general.
